This handcrafted Stereo EMF Microphone converts electromagnetic fields generated by phones, computers, electronic devices, and everyday electrical equipment into rich and immersive audio textures.

Designed for sound designers, experimental musicians, Foley artists, field recordists, and paranormal researchers :), this microphone opens up a hidden world of electromagnetic sound that is normally invisible and inaudible.

Cable options

The microphone is supplied with a 1.8 mm cable and is available in:

Optional magnetic mounts

Flat magnetic mounts are available as an optional add-on.

You can choose:

• 1 × flat magnetic mount
• 2 × flat magnetic mounts

The mounts are custom 3D-printed using a robust PLA/TPU hybrid design and allow the microphones to be positioned separately on metal surfaces.

They are particularly useful for hands-free recording from PC towers, server racks, electrical appliances, metal structures, and other sources of electromagnetic activity.

Important note

This microphone captures electromagnetic fields only.

It does not record acoustic sounds such as voices, music, or ambient room acoustics. The sounds produced by the microphone are generated from electromagnetic activity detected by its coils.

Production time

Each microphone is handmade to order and takes approximately 5 business days to produce.
